Berlin has sparrows… in abundance. I saw two yesterday around the Kaiser Wilhelm Kirche and some more this morning whilst drinking coffee in Adenauer platz. I have some theories as to why.
!. Little rubbish on the streets therefore fewer rats.
2 Not as many crows as there are in London, or magpies.
3. I have not seen a single grey squirrel since I arrived.
