This city is amazing…. I’m back I think I may have been asleep for a few days. Or my machine was. or my code was. Or whatever. What Berlin has done for me, it has woken me up. i am still the Paul who wakes up late. I am still the Paul who drinks coffee in the morning. Berlin, like me, has history written big. I saw tonight those little brass squares on the pavements. In Braunschweig I met this female whose father was an architect during the war. he went to Bremen secretly and copied all of the important buildings so they could be rebuilt after the war. I hope but don’t know if he inspired those bells. I think they must have done the same in Berlin. So sad to be leaving but I think it is a temporary glitch. I’ll collate my thoughts Mr Bear.
